The feeling of being a dad

As a new father to be. I find myself feeling old memories creep up on me. Great ones none the less, but always thinking of the phrase my folks yelled at me when I was growing up. "Your kids are going to treat you the same way, wait and see" I really don't find my self attached to that phrase. Yes, I was a pain in the butt when I was young, but I feel like it won't  be the case with my new little one. I see me and my wife raising a wonderful little girl. I find myself excited every day closer to seeing her. We hit the half way mark two weeks ago. Summing everything down. My folks did all this to get me ready. I still think training is needed but it will come naturally.
